Springfield, Lamberts, and "Ba-Donka-Donks"

Lamberts - The Home of the Throwed Rolls

This weekend we drove down to Springfield, MO with the Klaus Family. We went to help Sarah bring back her stuff from her first Semester of College at Bolivar. The Klaus' are our vacation friends and we really enjoy their company...except for Ron...we tolerate him...but the rest of their family more than makes up for Ron. On Saturday we stopped off at Lambert's - Home of the Throwed Rolls. A place they shovel food in your mouth like you're eating at a trough AND they throw rolls at you. There's a guy who walks around with piping hot rolls and all you do is call for a roll and he'll throw it to you...no matter where you are.

If you want a "Ba-Donka-Donk" you can go to Lamberts and when you walk out...after eating all the bread...you'll have one...maybe two...maybe three...I saw a lot of them today...

Patiently Waiting to be seated...Sheri, Vicky, Hannah, and Dookie Doo...

Patiently Waiting...Cameron, Andrew, and Sarah...

The Cattle Call!!!!....

Vicky must have found a special surprise in her box of Cracker Jack...

Sarah, Kelsie, and Hannah...chugging down some cold ones...preparing for a party over Sarah's dorm room later on with College guys

Lambert's Security Detail keeping an eye of Ron...and protecting the "Thrower"...

The "Thrower" threw four rolls right in the mouths of Cameron, Kelsie, Andrew, and Hannah...

Mmmmm...the amazing thing about the rolls is they are low calorie...only 10,000 calories per bite and the portions are very small...if you're feeding cattle....

Sounds like a fun place. You know there is a funny song by Trace Atkins about "Ba-Donka-Donks"
