Wow! I recognize that plastic Santa on the wall, and I can feel it in my hands as I write this. I think this was the Christmas I received a Daniel Boone coonskin cap, musket and belt. I loved the Daniel Boone show on Disney's Sunday night show... What a handsome lot even if I do say so myself! Looking forward to the book...

Dad told me to respond for him. He said it's the Christmas Tree. How imaginative!

The picture was taken in 1964 at 183 West 238th St.. I think Richie might be right about the Daniel Boone gifts. Now, I know why we eventually went to having an artificial tree. Seeing your pictures brings back memories. Keep it up! Love, Mom P.S. Life was simpler then.

Dad took another look at the picture and noticed his one remaining bowling trophy. This caused a conversation concerning how one of our earlier toddlers used his trophies as toys. You know how most toys end up, Toy Heaven. Some pictures cause upsetting memories even after all these years. However, we do remember what a good bowler Dad was, at least I do. Love

You are correct! The pitiful looking Christmas tree...

It was Dad's sweater. That is definitely a Charlie Brown Sweater.
